Senior Business Development Representative
Location: United States (Remote)
Compensation: $70K Base + $30K Variable
We’re working with a fast-growing, venture-backed startup in the AI developer tooling space, building technology that helps engineering teams improve how they access knowledge, documentation, and support through AI-driven workflows.
Due to strong growth, they are hiring a Senior Business Development Representative to join their early GTM team and help drive new pipeline across engineering and product organizations.
The Role
As a Senior BDR, you will focus on outbound prospecting, engaging technical buyers such as Engineering Leaders, Developer Experience teams, and Product leaders. You’ll work closely with Account Executives to generate qualified pipeline and help build the company’s outbound motion.
Responsibilities
- Identify and engage target accounts through outbound prospecting (LinkedIn, email, calls)
- Research accounts and craft personalized outreach to technical stakeholders
- Qualify opportunities and schedule discovery calls for the sales team
- Partner with AEs on account strategy and pipeline generation
- Maintain activity and pipeline in CRM
Requirements
- 1-3+ years experience in a BDR/SDR role within SaaS
- Experience prospecting into technical personas (engineering, devops, product) is a plus
- Strong communication skills and ability to personalize outreach
- Self-starter comfortable working in a startup environment
