We are looking for an experienced and motivated Mid-Market Account Executive to join our dynamic sales team. Job Summary:
As a Mid-Market Account Executive, you will be responsible for managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals with mid-market companies. Your primary goal will be to drive revenue growth by identifying potential clients, demonstrating the value of our SaaS solution, and converting prospects into long-term customers. You’ll work closely with marketing and customer success to ensure seamless onboarding and account expansion opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prospecting & Lead Generation: Identify and engage mid-market prospects through outbound efforts, as well as working with inbound leads generated by marketing. Build and manage a robust sales pipeline.
• Sales Presentations & Demos: Conduct product demos and presentations tailored to the specific needs of mid-market clients. Clearly communicate the value proposition and benefits of our SaaS solutions to key decision-makers.
• Solution Selling: Understand the pain points and business challenges of mid-market prospects and provide tailored solutions that demonstrate how our product can address their needs.
• Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers within target accounts. Ensure the highest levels of customer engagement throughout the sales process.
• Negotiation & Closing: Negotiate pricing and contract terms to close deals. Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
• Collaboration with Cross-functional Teams: Work closely with marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure smooth onboarding of new clients and identify opportunities for account expansion.
• CRM Management: Keep accurate records of all sales activities, opportunities, and client communications in the CRM (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot). Provide regular updates on sales pipeline and forecast.
• Market Insights & Feedback: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor products, and client feedback to help improve product offerings and sales strategies.
• Account Growth: Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling, expanding relationships with existing clients to drive additional revenue.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3-5 years of experience in B2B SaaS sales, preferably in a mid-market sales role.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas and successfully managing complex sales cycles.
• Strong understanding of solution selling, value-based selling, and consultative sales approaches.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex solutions clearly and persuasively.
• Experience with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales engagement tools.
• Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Ability to build relationships and influence key decision-makers at mid-market companies.
Preferred Skills:
• Experience selling to mid-market or enterprise clients in a SaaS environment.
• Knowledge of a specific vertical or industry relevant to the company’s products.
• Familiarity with sales methodologies such as Challenger Sales, SPIN Selling, or MEDDIC.
