Job Overview

We are seeking a visionary Chief Product Officer (CPO) to lead our product strategy and innovation for our rapidly scaling B2B SaaS company. As the CPO, you will be a strategic partner to the executive team, responsible for aligning our product roadmap with business objectives and customer needs. This role demands an expert in product strategy, cross-functional leadership, and market intelligence. You will drive our product vision from ideation to execution, ensuring product-market fit and accelerating customer value.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

1. Product Vision and Strategy

• Define and communicate a compelling product vision and strategy aligned with business goals and market trends.

• Develop and prioritize a product roadmap that meets both current customer needs and anticipates future opportunities in the B2B SaaS space.

• Own product lifecycle management from concept to launch, including market research, competitive analysis, pricing strategy, and product positioning.

 

2. Leadership and Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing product management team, fostering a culture of innovation, data-driven decision-making, and customer empathy.

• Collaborate closely with engineering, sales, marketing, and customer success teams to ensure alignment and seamless execution of product initiatives.

• Build effective partnerships with key stakeholders to drive strategic product initiatives and ensure successful product launches.

 

3. Customer-Centric Product Development

• Oversee the collection and analysis of customer feedback to shape product development priorities and improve user experience.

• Lead efforts to deepen customer insights, including leveraging user research, data analytics, and customer feedback loops to drive product innovation.

• Champion a culture of customer obsession, ensuring that our products deliver exceptional value and solve real business challenges.

 

4. Market Analysis and Competitive Intelligence

• Conduct ongoing market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats, adjusting the product strategy to maintain a competitive edge.

• Act as a thought leader in the B2B SaaS space, contributing to product marketing strategies and representing the company in industry events and publications.

 

5. KPIs and Performance Tracking

• Establish and monitor product-related KPIs to measure success and guide decision-making.

• Implement a data-driven approach to assess product performance, iterate on strategies, and drive continuous improvement in product development.

 

Key Qualifications

Experience: Minimum 10+ years of product management experience with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role, ideally in B2B SaaS.

Strategic Vision: Proven track record of creating and executing product strategies that drive customer growth, retention, and revenue.

Leadership: Exceptional leadership skills with experience in building, managing, and inspiring cross-functional teams.

Customer Focused: Deep understanding of customer needs and a commitment to creating products that deliver meaningful value to users.

Analytical Skills: Strong analytical mindset with expertise in data-driven decision-making and familiarity with product analytics and metrics.

Market Knowledge: Expertise in SaaS industry trends, best practices, and competitive dynamics.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree is a plus.
