Sales Engineer | First on the ground | Employee Experience Platform | Boston, US

I'm partnered with a PE backed, AI powered Employee Experience software vendor who are in the market for their first Sales Engineer on the ground in the US! This role is a top priority hire to help accelerate company growth in the region!

Their solution is the single most intuitive & advanced platform for driving, understanding & leveraging employee engagement. Over 1000 customers currently adopt their solution to help with internal communications & employee advocacy/insights to ensure their employees are engaged, can stay informed on all business matters & feel heard by the organisation.

They are looking for a Founding Sales Engineer to help accelerate their growth across the US alongside 2 new Account Executives & an SDR!

 

You will need:

  • 3-5 years' experience in Sales Engineering or Solution Consulting for SaaS vendors
  • A strong technical background - you don't need to be a developer, but need to be able to hold technical discussions with developers
  • Strong "hands on" personality - driven to work out problems & implement solutions
  • Strong communication skills - you should be able to explain technical convepts to non-technical personas, including stakeholders

 

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Support the sales team directly throughout the sales cycle with technical presentations, POC's, in-depth product demo's & consistently responding to RFI's & RFP's
  • Provide technical support to existing partners & resolve technical implementation issues
  • Design & implement technical training programs that meet customer requirements & provide guidance on integrating with existing partners
