Business Development Representative (BDR) — Entry Level / Early Career

About the role
We’re growing and looking for a curious, coachable Business Development Representative to help us build pipeline for one of our clients in the Fintech space. You’ll learn modern outbound, talk to prospective customers every day, and book qualified meetings for our sales team. This is a great fit for new grads and early-career sellers who want a real path to AE.
What you’ll do
- Prospect via email, phone, LinkedIn to create qualified opportunities
- Run thoughtful discovery to understand pain, priorities, and timing
- Personalize outreach using buyer triggers, use cases, and industry context
- Manage your daily activity, sequences, and pipeline in our sales tools
- Book meetings and set AEs up to win with crisp notes & next steps
- Partner with Marketing on campaigns; share front-line feedback
- Hit and exceed monthly goals: meetings set, qualified opps, revenue influence
What you’ll bring
- High energy, resilience, and a bias for action—comfortable making calls
- Clear, concise communication (written and verbal)
- Organized and data-minded: you track activity and improve based on results
- Coachability: you seek feedback and put it to work
- Comfortable with modern GTM tools (we use Salesforce, Outreach/Salesloft, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Gong—experience with any is a plus)
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
Nice-to-haves (not required)
- Prior experience in SDR/BDR, retail/hospitality sales, or support
- Familiarity with MEDDICC/SPICED-style qualification
- Internship/co-op experience in a customer-facing role
- Financial Services Background
