This includes for example, contacting you about job opportunities, assessing your suitability for those opportunities, updating our databases, putting you forward for job opportunities, arranging payments to you and developing and managing our services and relationship with you and our clients.</p><p>If you have opted-in we may also send you marketing information and news via email/ text. You can opt-out from receiving these at any time by clicking “unsubscribe” when you receive these communications from us.</p><p>In some cases we may be required to use your data for the purpose of investigating, reporting and detecting crime and also to comply with laws that apply to us. We may also use your information during the course of internal audits to demonstrate our compliance with certain industry standards.</p><p>We must have a legal basis to process your personal data. The legal bases we rely upon to offer our work-finding services to you are:</p><p>• Your consent;</p><p>• Where we have a legitimate interest;</p><p>• To comply with a legal obligation that we have;</p><p>• To fulfil a contractual obligation that we have with you</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Legitimate Interest</strong></p><p>This is where the Company has a legitimate reason to process your data provided it is reasonable and does not go against what you would reasonably expect from us.</p><p>Where the Company has relied on a legitimate interest to process your personal data our legitimate interests are as follows:</p><p>• Managing our database and keeping work-seeker records up to date;</p><p>• Providing work-finding services to you and our clients;</p><p>• Contacting you to seek your consent where we need it;</p><p>• Giving you information about similar products or services that you have used from us recently.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Statutory / Contractual Requirement</strong></p><p>The Company has certain legal and contractual requirements to collect personal data (e.g. to comply with the Conduct of Employment Agencies and Employment Businesses Regulations 2003, immigration and tax legislation, and in some circumstances safeguarding requirements.)</p><p>Our clients may also require this personal data, and/or we may need your data to enter into a contract with you. If you do not give us personal data we need to collect we may not be able to continue to provide work-finding services to you.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Recipient/s of data</strong></p><p>The Company will process your personal data and/or sensitive personal data with the following recipients:</p><p>• Clients (whom we may introduce or supply you to);</p><p>• Former employers whom we may seek references from;</p><p><br></p><p><strong>What information do we collect about you?</strong></p><p>Personal data:</p><p>• Name, mobile number, email</p><p>• LinkedIn profile / CV</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Source of the personal data:</strong></p><p>• From jobs boards and LinkedIn;</p><p>• A former employer;</p><p>• A referee whose details you previously provided to us;</p><p><br></p><p><strong>How long do we keep the information for?</strong></p><p>The Company will retain your personal data only for as long as is necessary for the purpose we collect it. Different laws may also require us to keep different data for different periods of time. For example, the Conduct of Employment Agencies and Employment Businesses Regulations 2003, require us to keep work-seeker records for at least one year from (a) the date of their creation or (b) after the date on which we last provide you with work-finding services.</p><p>To determine the appropriate retention period for personal data, we consider the amount, nature, and sensitivity of the personal data, the likelihood of a suitable role arising where you are applying for a job, the potential risk of harm from unauthorised use or disclosure of your personal data, the purposes for which we process your personal data and whether we can achieve those purposes through other means, and the applicable legal requirements.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Can you access, correct or withdraw your data?</strong></p><p>We want to make sure that your personal information is accurate and up to date; please keep us informed if your personal data changes during your relationship with us. You may ask us to correct any inaccurate data about yourself or ask us to stop processing your data.</p><p>You have the right to:</p><p>• Withdraw your consent for us to process your information for any reason;</p><p>• Request a copy of the information we hold about you; or</p><p>• Ask for your personal data to be deleted.</p><p>If you would like to exercise any of these rights, please email DPO@scalewithstrive.com</p><p>You should be aware that where we process your data for a Transaction (other than for marketing purposes), and you wish to withdraw your consent for us to process your information, then we may need to cease communications with you and you will be required to re-register and provide all of your personal information again, should you choose to enter into a Transaction with us again in future.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>International Transfers</strong></p><p>The data that we collect from you may/will be transferred to, and stored at, a destination outside the UK or&nbsp;European Economic Area (”EEA”). It may be transferred to third parties outside of the UK or the EEA for the purpose of our recruitment services. It may/will also be processed by staff operating outside the UK or the&nbsp;EEA who work for us or for one of our suppliers. This includes staff engaged in, among other things, our recruitment services and the provision of support services. By submitting your personal data, you agree to this processing. We will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this privacy notice.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Data Security</strong></p><p>We have put in place appropriate security measures to prevent your personal data from being accidentally lost, used or accessed in an unauthorised way, altered or disclosed. In addition, we limit access to your personal data to those employees, agents, contractors and other third parties who have a business need to know.
